TaskQo vs Monitask: screenshots and timesheets, or AI analysis.

Monitask is an inexpensive tracker with screenshots, timesheets and payroll, and it is open with team members about what is captured. TaskQo goes a step further and reads the screenshots for you.

Activity levels or classified minutes

Monitask measures activity from keyboard and mouse counts per 10-minute period and lists the apps and websites used, alongside screenshots. Deciding what was productive is left to the manager.

TaskQo does that step for you: each tracked minute is labelled productive, unproductive or idle, with the screenshot and a one-line reason. Managers review the exceptions instead of the whole screenshot folder.

Screenshots

Monitask takes random or fixed-interval screenshots, from 30 to 120 an hour (higher frequencies cost extra), covers multiple monitors and blurs sensitive content on the device with Smartblur.

TaskQo takes one screenshot per tracked minute, keeps banking and health apps only as a general description and shows people when a screenshot is taken.

Call review and coaching

Monitask does not list call features.

When call review is on, TaskQo records both sides of supported calls and meetings during configured shifts. One click on a recording gives a speaker-labelled transcript in 39 languages, a QA score for communication, issue resolution and professionalism, the customer's reaction, and coaching notes a manager can act on.

Privacy and self-view

TaskQo has no silent mode: consent is recorded before the first capture, capture only runs during shifts and every team member sees the same timeline and reasons as their manager.

Monitask includes timesheets on all plans, attendance and time off, and payroll and invoicing from tracked hours.

TaskQo covers shifts, leave, holidays, overtime, breaks, hourly and salary pay with deductions, weekly approval and payroll-ready exports. It does not do client invoicing.

Switching from Monitask to TaskQo

Start with one team rather than the whole company. Install the TaskQo desktop app, set the shift schedule and monitoring settings, invite the team, and compare the first few shifts with what your current tool told you. Performance data builds from the first tracked shift.
