At a glance
| Feature | TaskQo | Kickidler |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | BPOs, call centers, support and sales teams that need to know what got done, not just hours | Businesses, IT and security teams and remote managers that want live viewing, recording and DLP on their own servers |
| How work is classified | Every tracked minute is labelled productive, unproductive or idle. Clear-cut work is classified from the app in focus; AI vision reviews the rest. Each result shows its screenshot and a one-line reason | Admins classify apps as productive, neutral or unproductive by role or department; efficiency report built on those lists |
| Screenshots and video | One screenshot per tracked minute; optional screen video compiled into one replay per shift, with chapters at flagged moments | Screenshots (Time Tracking); live view, continuous and event-based video recording (Employee Monitoring) |
| Call recording and QA | Yes. Records both sides of supported calls and meetings during shifts; one-click speaker-labelled transcript in 39 languages, QA score and coaching notes | Audio recording alongside screen video; no call transcription or AI call scoring found |
| Shifts, attendance and pay | Fixed or flexible shifts, leave, holidays, overtime and breaks; hourly and salary pay with deductions; weekly approval; payroll-ready CSV and timesheet PDF | Time and attendance (lateness, early departures, absences, vacations), timesheets. Payroll not listed |
| Privacy and self-view | Consent recorded before the first capture; capture only inside shifts; every team member has a self-view with the same timeline as their manager; sensitive screens kept only as a general description | Covert or transparent monitoring; Autokick self-monitoring for team members; keystroke activity logging |
| Mouse jigglers and other cheating | Flags patterns linked to mouse jigglers, remote-desktop sessions and virtual machines, with the minutes attached. A person decides; a flag never changes pay or scores | Idle time tracking; vendor blog mentions detecting signs of simulated activity |
Recordings or answers
Kickidler (KeepActive) gives managers live screen viewing, continuous and event-based video and audio recording, with apps classified as productive, neutral or unproductive by role or department. It is thorough, and someone still has to watch or listen.
TaskQo classifies every tracked minute with a one-line reason and the screenshot behind it, and surfaces the unusual minutes for a manager to review.
Call audio versus call QA
Kickidler records audio alongside screen video in its Employee Monitoring edition. We found no transcription or call scoring.
When call review is on, TaskQo records both sides of supported calls and meetings during configured shifts. One click on a recording gives a speaker-labelled transcript in 39 languages, a QA score for communication, issue resolution and professionalism, the customer's reaction, and coaching notes a manager can act on.

Covert or open monitoring
Kickidler supports covert monitoring, hidden from Task Manager, as well as a transparent mode with self-monitoring tools for team members, and logs keystroke activity.
TaskQo only runs openly. Consent is recorded first, capture only happens during scheduled shifts, typed-text capture is off by default and every team member sees their own timeline.
On-premise or cloud
Kickidler runs on your own servers today, with its cloud version marked as in progress, on Windows, macOS and Linux.
TaskQo is a cloud service. Recordings are stored in TaskQo storage, encrypted with a key for your organization and deleted on your retention schedule.
Shifts, attendance and pay
Kickidler tracks lateness, early departures, absences and vacations with timesheets; payroll is not listed.
TaskQo adds pay: overtime, breaks, holidays, hourly and salary pay with deductions, weekly approval and payroll-ready exports.

Pricing
Kickidler lists Time Tracking at $4.17, Employee Monitoring at $5.50 and DLP at $8.25 per user per month on one-year billing, or $7, $9.99 and $15 monthly, plus a perpetual licence and a free mode for one computer after the trial.
Where Kickidler is stronger
- On-premise deployment
- Live viewing plus continuous video and audio
Switching from Kickidler to TaskQo
Start with one team rather than the whole company. Install the TaskQo desktop app, set the shift schedule and monitoring settings, invite the team, and compare the first few shifts with what your current tool told you. Performance data builds from the first tracked shift.
